We have more than 10 years of experience working and teaching in all kinds of different situations and scenarios, with all skill levels, ages, social and cultural groups. From July 2020 we’ve decided to restructure our business in order to stay focused on the quality of the individual parts. As a consequence, all design and architectural activities have been transferred to MIKKEL RUGAARD STUDIO run by long time Street Movement creative director, partner and parkour design specialist, Mikkel Rugaard, while Street Movement will continue to focuse on teaching and education and the further development and dissimination of parkour. Street Movement and Mikkel Rugaard Studio will continue the close collaboration and synergy we’ve developed over the years.

Park and facility DesignS
Designing for parkour can be a paradox. The essence of parkour teaches us as movers to adapt to our environment and any given physical scenario, whatever that may be. Thus, when taking the other approach and adapting the environment to us - ie. designing for parkour - we need to be intelligent about it.
In our opinion architectural designs need to add something new - not simply copy features that already exist. Designs should have value to more people, whether this is functionally, aesthetically, culturally or socially etc. On top of this, good designs should create movement challenges that cannot be found anywhere else.
The goal should be to make parkour, movement and physical activity in general become a logical extension and part of the landscape, whether urban or natural.

Every coaching or training situation is different. With a few basic items you can really add to a functional setup and extend the possibilities of your sessions - especially when used in connection with existing objects and elements.
These are tried, tested and proven solutions that have served us, and many many others, extremely well over the years - and still do!
Designed, tweaked and modified over the years, thrpugh countless events, workshops, training sessions, shows and travels, this equipment has proven its worth in function and versatility time and time again.
